North Korea Calls Trump ‘Lunatic’ With ‘War Fever’

A North Korean state-run newspaper, The Pyongyang Times, published an article on Monday that targeted U.S. President Donald J. Trump, who the outlet called a “lunatic” with a “war fever.”

“Dignitaries of White House, and State and Defense Departments of the US are having a hard time cooling Trump, who is overheated with a war fever,” the article said. “Lunatic Trump is running headlong into ruin, taking America with him, and the poor puppet forces are following him, at the peril of their lives.”

“Such rubbish as ‘fire and fury,’ ‘total destruction,’ ‘annihilation’ and ‘calm before storm’ are heard from Trump every day and the US is keen on recklessly playing with fire by introducing nuclear bomber formation, nuclear carrier strike groups, nuclear submarines and Aegis into the sky and waters off the Korean Peninsula in succession,” it added.

In addition, South Korea and Japan were declared U.S. “puppet forces.”

The editorial followed an exchange of threats between Mr. Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un that took place in September.
