Authorities in Saudi Arabia announced their intent on Tuesday to start issuing tourist visas in an attempt to diversify oil-dependent economy of the country.

“Tourist visas will be introduced soon,” head of the Saudi tourism authority Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdel-Aziz said, as quoted by AFP.

Saudi Arabia is undergoing a set of economic and social reforms. Earlier this month, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman vowed to return his country to “moderate Islam.”

In a landmark move in September, the country said it would let women drive.
