A reporter from Turkish TV network ATV was seen battered under intense hail during live on TV. A ferocious hail storm battered Istanbul on Thursday, shattering car windshields and damaging property.

A ferocious hail storm rained down in Istanbul on Thursday, shattering car windshields and damaging property. People on social media shared surreal videos and photos of even egg-sized hail.

In this video, a reporter named Tugba was trying to report the weather conditions in Istanbul. But no words needed to explain how bad weather was. For minutes, she struggled to remain calm under the hail.

During her reporting, one of her colleagues from another TV channel, NTV, gave her an umbrella. But the umbrella couldn’t stand to the hail.

She apologized many times for not staying straight during the appearance and had to sit down. The anchor asked her to quit or take cover. But apparently, the reporter didn’t hear the anchor and continued reporting.
