US Withdraws from UN Human Rights Council

The United States has withdrawn from the U.N. Human Rights Council, U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley said on Tuesday, branding the global body a “cesspool of political bias.”

“We take this step because our commitment does not allow us to remain a part of a hypocritical and self-serving organization that makes a mockery of human rights,” she stated.

Ten good reasons for the #US to leave the UN Human Rights Council.
